Privacy-First Approach
Voice Invoice is designed to work without an account. When you use voice features, your recording is transmitted to an AI processing provider to convert your words into structured invoice data. Invoice documents you generate are stored locally on your device. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Information We Collect
Temporary Voice Processing
When you create an invoice, your voice recording (and the invoice details you speak) is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our AI processing provider (currently Cloudflare Workers AI) to perform transcription and extract invoice fields. The audio is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers. Our providers may process and retain limited technical logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes, as described in their policies.
Device Identifier and Service Data
To confirm that requests come from a genuine installation of the app, enforce free-tier limits, and prevent abuse, we use Apple's DeviceCheck to derive a device-level identifier. On our backend we store, associated with this identifier, a count of the invoices you create in the current period and your current subscription status. We keep this information only as long as needed to operate the service (for example, monthly invoice counts reset each month). It is used solely for app functionality and fraud prevention — it is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and it is never used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites.
Local Storage Only
Generated invoices, preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. Your invoice data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it (for example, by emailing a PDF to a client).
No Required Registration
Voice Invoice does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to provide your name, email, or phone number to use the app. If you choose to include personal or business information in an invoice (such as client details), that information is stored locally on your device and is shared only when you export or send the invoice.
No Advertising or Cross-App Tracking
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use third-party analytics platforms to monitor your behavior inside the app. The only usage information we process inside the app is the limited, device-level invoice count described above, which we use solely to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
This applies to the iOS app. Our marketing website at voiceinvoice.app uses Google Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic, as described under Website Analytics below. The app and the website are separate: the website's analytics do not receive any of your invoice data or in-app activity.
Purchases
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment and provides us with transaction information (such as subscription status and transaction identifiers) so we can unlock premium features and keep your subscription status in sync. We do not receive your payment card details.
Diagnostics
We do not collect crash logs or diagnostic data, and we do not use third-party crash-reporting tools. Your device may share crash and performance data with Apple according to your iOS privacy settings; that sharing is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Third-Party Services
Cloudflare Workers AI
Voice Invoice uses Cloudflare Workers AI as a service provider to process voice recordings and return transcription and extracted invoice fields. Audio and related request data are transmitted to Cloudflare to provide this functionality.

Apple App Store & StoreKit
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We receive subscription status information needed to provide premium features, but we do not receive your payment card details.
Website Analytics (Google Analytics)
This section applies only to our marketing website at voiceinvoice.app — not to the iOS app. To understand how visitors find and use the website so we can improve it, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard, aggregated usage information such as the pages you view, the site or link that referred you, your approximate geographic region, and general device and browser type.
This information is used only to measure overall website traffic and trends. It is not linked to your identity, is not combined with any invoice data or in-app activity, and is not used to serve you advertising. Google Analytics derives approximate location from your IP address but does not store it.
Google processes this information as a service provider on our behalf. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Auto-Renewal Terms
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- Manage and cancel subscriptions in: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the subscription period
Data Storage
- All invoice data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework
- We do not provide cloud synchronization for your invoices
- Voice recordings are transmitted to an AI provider for processing and are not stored by us
- On our backend we store only a device-level identifier together with your current-period invoice count and subscription status, used to operate the service (plan limits, fraud prevention, and unlocking premium features)
- You can delete invoices within the app; uninstalling the app removes local data from the device
- If you use iCloud or Finder backups, Apple may include app data in your device backups based on your settings
Device Permissions
Microphone Access
Required — Voice Invoice needs microphone access to record your voice for invoice creation.
- Purpose: To capture voice recordings for invoice generation
- Data handling: Audio is transmitted to our AI processing provider to generate invoice data and is not stored by us
Photo Library Access
Optional — Voice Invoice may request access to your photo library to save invoice PDFs.
- Purpose: To save generated invoice PDFs to your Photos
- Data handling: Used only when you explicitly choose to save an invoice
- Optional: You can share invoices via other methods without granting photo access
Children's Privacy
- The app is not directed to children under 13
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
- If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps
